Nagaru Tanigawa is a Japanese author best known for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya for which he won the grand prize at the eighth annual Sneaker Awards. Tanigawa is currently working on the tenth novel about Haruhi Suzumiya and the S.O.S. Brigade.

Secret Agent Mori-san Doing Cosplay: Funny as Ever

Haruhi and the SOS Brigade's crazy antics continue in the fourth installment of a parody comic series "Haruhi-chan." Most jokes would be lost on the uninitiated, but for the fans of the original "Haruhi" books and animations, creator Puyo's comic would be a delightful read with cute character designs.
The fourth volume opens with "Anti-April Fool Meeting," the best episode of the series so far, where the Brigade members including Kyon, Koizumi, Mikuru and Nagato discuss the best way to avoid the possible disaster that the whimsical heroine Haruhi (who can bend reality without knowing it) might cause. The result is a hilarious cosplay show of a usually cool female agent Mori-san impersonating Haruhi (quite convincingly).
The volume also contains such episodes as "Spring Brigade Member Recruiting" and "The Heart-Pounding Date of Kyon and Haruhi" (in which Kyon and Haruhi are forced to play characters in a bona fide romantic comedy). The last episode "SOS-Style Exercise" contains a little bit of fan service (rare in the series).
Creator Puyo not only sends up the original, but develops his (her?) own ideas effectively with some funny interactions between Kimidori-san and Achakura-san. The new volume is a nice addition to the Haruhi-chan series.
By the way, "a god game" (in Japanese "kami-ge") has another meaning besides the one on p.113. Here probably it just means "an awesome game."

This left me with a somewhat complicated feeling. A lot of it was fairly boring, but one chapter in particular was funny and clinically interesting at the same time. All I disliked in that chapter is how abnormally loud Koizumi is, even though he's otherwise of almost no different mindset than usual.
To be honest, I don't remember any of the rest of the book off the top of my head. That should say something.

The scenes are good and the jokes are funny love everything about it! i also like how Mori-san is in this book.
